Which service provider is my phone on? I need to know because i need to unlock it.?

It's an HTC Hero. I reset my phone a few months ago and am thinking about using it now but im on Rogers and its wont use the rogers sim card. But i don't know which service provider it is locked on. and There is no service provider label on the front or back or when i turn it on. Some one help Please.
